We get it’s in 1985 ti west, you do not need to spend the whole movie showing us it’s 1985. What should be a swan song for one of horrors newest icons falls flat before it even starts. A predictable, hardly thrilling thriller. This movie looks like 2016 pretending be 1985 when everybody was into stranger things. Main antagonist is one of the worst actors I have ever seen, along with most of the supporting cast. This movie is entertaining…

The Passion of Joan of Arc 1928
Incredibly haunting to watch a masterful performance by a woman with turmoil in her own life. To step into the cultural touchstone that is Joan of Arc and humanize her in such a way is incredible. Each harrowed gaze, each tear falling leaves us wondering how the real Joan would have perceived this performance. Falconetti’s supernova performance in tandem with the love those around her share for her character create one of the most visceral depictions of conviction and belief that I’ve seen yet.
