dug this, okay? it was weird as hell but there was a mens rea reference and i’m partial to that bc i’m too deep in the law school trenches rn i’m having dreams ab mens rea. weirdly validating.

i love depictions of deep platonic relationships, pure love, innocent affections. weird bits here and there, but c’mon! fuck the pigs and they ate ice cream together and smashed the cones on each other’s heads to look silly!

men love asking “are you into comedy” and for YEARS: “no, not really, the only comedian i watch is john mulaney.”

DISAPPOINTMENT, like immediate, CRIPPLING judgement, in that man’s eyes (every man’s eyes), i just became EXACTLY what they’d feared (HUMAN!) and i will literally never recover. it’s a moment i LIVE for, a moment i DREAM about. i love being a fucking woman, i love being a living, breathing, HUMAN woman who is imperfect and sometimes a little stupid…

roommate made me watch this. this shit didn't sit right w me. rlly feels like they're exploiting a very real issue to make money. gun violence is an epidemic that kills more than 100 americans everyday. school shootings are, of course, a part of that number, but they're not the biggest part. they're publicized because of their unbelievable and heartbreaking nature. this dumb pile of shit did the same thing. showing a school shooting to elicit a reaction from audience and make more money without saying anything substantial about the issue. kind of insulting, actually.
