  fuck this movie i still can’t believe people don’t acknowledge how insanely disrespectful it is. they’re doing real pagan rituals so they’re dealing with a real religion here and they do it in the most disrespectful way possible. first they aestheticize it and minimize how real it is, blatantly appropriating the pagan religion, and then they make them evil?? imagine if this movie was done with any other religion. fuck this movie.

  i literally have no idea was the point/plot of this movie was, there was nothing that like tied it together really or made it feel satisfying at the end and it just kind of trailed off????
  also why did james franco (rapist) cast himself as the pedophile teacher 
  all 3.5 stars are for the dialogue, that was killer and the whole thing just felt realistic
  however if i just wanted realism like that i would just go to the skatepark,…
