Marie Antoinette 2006
Despite her controversial reputation and messy history, the 2006 film about Marie Antoinette's life managed to evoke my sympathy towards the late queen of France. The historical drama presents her from a unique perspective, that is not often found in history textbooks at school. It’s important to remember that it’s only based on the life of Marie Antoinette, therefore it’s not a hundred percent historically accurate. Nonetheless, it remains one of my favorite films of all time.
