  not exactly the movie i was expecting, i think the second half was a bit too dragged out and definitely too long.
  also, for a movie called anora, i feel like the main character is not developed nearly well enough. ani seems like such a smart girl, and she clearly knows the ins and outs of her job, so why did she fall so fast for a typical rich nepobaby? i didn't once get the feeling that vanya really loved…

  terrible.
  the worst movie of 2024.
  and that's saying something after strong contestants such as madame web and joker: folie a deux.
  how did it get 13 academy nominations??? and won the golden globe for best musical/comedy over WICKED???

  bad movie, bad musical, terrible spanish (could anyone make out ANY of selena gomez's words???), terrible cinematography, terrible dialogue, terrible script. two hours of my life i'll never get back.

  the scene in which camille walks outside completely naked (in what clearly seems to be an episode), and her husband undresses and follows suit, hugging her and kissing her right after had me in tears. no other scene captures just how far this man is willing to go, just how much he's willing to do for the woman he loves.
  there really was no one else for either of them.

  absolutely wrecked me, instant favourite. don't think i'll ever recover from it, and can't wait to get the book
