I get the mixed feelings surrounding this movie.
The strange artifice, most of the characters seem caricatures, pieces of hyperbole.
I think the point of this movie is to see how Scarlett Johansens character is isolated, detract her from her surroundings, her experience reflected in the incomprehensible nature of that which surrounds her. As an audience, we seem to experience this very detachment, unable to fathom the over exaggerated scenes surrounding Japanese culture and the neon signs of Tokyo. In…Translated from by
