Civil War (2024) is an incredibly visceral and unsettling experience. It shakes you, emotionally and physically, but it keeps marching on to tell its story. (Sidenote: Definitely watch it in IMAX if you can.)

Literally nothing works in this movie. The "action" for which it's apparently praised is Hot Wheels garbage. The story is equally bad. The editing... I doubt good editing would have saved it, but it certainly made it worse. The music is one-note, the storylines are meandering and oft-headless with awful choices, and the technical aspects (CGI, VFX, cinematography, sound editing, sound mixing, ADR) are also noticeably poor. Every scene invites about 5 questions, with no answers and no explanation.
