Conclave 2024
A 9/10 for cinematography but only a 5/10 for story. The stakes feel significant if you're Catholic and understand the gravity of the events, but compared to other portrayals of the Vatican, this one is more grounded—yet not particularly engaging.
While the film held my attention through its meticulous shot composition and framing, I kept waiting for a deeper intrigue or drama that never quite arrived. Ultimately, it fell a bit flat.

I can't even call this a cheap fun movie built on novelty. It's just stupid. Alot of disbelief needs to suspended for them to build their world and have a movie in it.
They tried to do too much and it fell flat. The kingsman was better because it didn't try to over extend.
Lot of novelty, wacky moments, and action if you like that sort of stuff. But you're not getting much else.

Wow, I walked out of the film around the 45min - 50min mark. This movie is ass. Aesthetics and cinematography are fire but they do not excuse the idiotic story and circumstances that force these moments of forced and try hard drama.
