imo the movie had a slow progression in the start, i didn't really feel like it was conveyed well enough that these characters were falling in love.
then after the whole bonfire/song part, it suddenly speeds up and suddenly these characters are jus beamin with love. it felt kinda rushed and not quite convincing.
i think the last 10 minutes really do showcase well how much these characters love each other, and i did feel very moved.
