Rewatched this after reading the book and it’s just so good each time, the music and cate blanchett give us everything 10/10. Unfortunately for the book i love the movie wayyyyyy more-sorry patricia highsmith i know you’re hugely acclaimed and the book was an important step in giving (semi) happy endings for queer relationships in media, but it was a slog to read.
