  I have few regrets in life, but sticking with this film till the end is definitely one of them. Predictable plot, poorly written characters, bland action scenes and an overly dramatic score are some of my complaints. The only thing that kept me from falling asleep was Joaquin Phoenix.

  So deeply in love with the music, colours and atmosphere in this that I don't really care that it was a four star experience otherwise. Aesthetics > plot.

  Edit: I'm a pathetic human being who can't stop being bothered by giving this half a star too much earlier. I'm taking it back.
