I’d rather re-watch Conclave.
Okay. That aside. The relationships between characters felt…transactional and lacked the chemistry and warmth showcased in the original. If I want to watch a movie where people are leveraging their relationships with others, I would simply re-watch Conclave. I wanted to see genuine female friendship and was sorely disappointed by a connection that felt more superficial than genuine. Not to mention the lackluster romantic chemistry. For a runtime as long as it had, one would think…
