wow let’s talk about impulse control!
where Collateral is a tidy enjoyable package, Heat is an elaborate, controlled sprawl. i guess i’m officially a Michael Mann fan now?
he’s so good at these character studies, damn! Bobby and Al play off of each other so perfectly and we’re obviously supposed to read them as two sides of the same coin, but we don’t get off that easy…i also feel like i didn’t get Pacino until this movie tbh
now i’m gonna think…
