  patrick actually should’ve died. even if clem an joel’s relationship is “doomed” i don’t think they erase each other after this it just wouldn’t make sense, i think that the hallway scene showed that joel and clem are okay with each other and how they are, if you choose to believe they end up breaking up or working out is all up to you.
