I really liked the movie. It's amazing.
    The acting is fantastic.
I liked both the comedy and depressive side of the movie.
I liked how lovingly the movie was made.

    Now to the cons
You might notice this strange transition from a fairy tale to depressive realism. The comedy plays the same cruel joke in this movie.
It's a bold approach, but such a subversion of the genre can give the viewer false expectations. Too much contrast between bad and good.
Most of the problems are increasing due to the monetization of art, but couldn't our heroes find happiness?
Is the progress or humanity to blame?

    ★★★★

Nosferatu is a film about human sinfulness, about evil, which live inside, about unavoidable death.

This can be said about another Eggers films, bug is it not great that author found his niche and making what he loves at the top academic level.

This is fantastic work with insane actors perfomance. It is hard to disagree, but there is nothing to highlight besides that.

If every mainstream movie would be made like that, i would be happiest human on the planet.

What sets it apart from other films is its emotional response. The most exciting scenes where a sheet of four-leaf manga flies through the door are perceived by the viewer with some incomprehension, interest and strong emotions.

The film is also very clear with a certain vision of the author, which makes it complete and deep at the same time.
The dynamics of the characters' relationships are clear, but this does not prevent…

    "Hidetora: I am lost...
Kyoami: Such is the human condition."

As far as I understand, this is a screen adaptation of old legends, folklore. Such films can differ from each other in different levels of mysticism and realism, as the director wishes. Akira Kurosawa does an amazing job of making us believe in it and at the same time envelop ourselves in magic. This is facilitated by:
    1. Eccentric acting
    2. Thoughtful blocking of actors
    3. Quotes of characters that…
