  My mother introduced me to Van Gogh’s art at a very young age, and for as long as I can remember, he’s been my favourite painter to exist. I don’t know what it is but his work just speaks to me in a way that nothing and no one else can.
  I always saw a world full of beauty and sadness in his work, expressing the intensity of the emotions he felt. His work always made me feel understood. Ironically, it made me feel warm inside while also bringing my sadness to the forefront. Loving Vincent made me feel this way too.
