This movie's emotion and motives are at least interesting and very often beautiful. The very real emotion of reluctant familial love, the complex innocence of the child, the fear of adopted parenthood, and the avoidance of care within love. A supremely beautiful offering which does well to conceal its corrupt core.

Easy Rider 1969
As a culture piece, this movie is amazing. You can read a random 1 hr video essay about it, I'm not denying its impact. As a movie though, it's a boring and incoherent piece that somehow devolves into a drug-induced warholian shit barf. Hard to believe that this is the culture of a generation that brought forth the yuppie conservative reaganite 80s.
