Black Panther 2018
This movie is fantastic, and is the most stylish of the movies in the MCU. While I argue that there are at least 6 or 7 better films than it, the attention to detail and world that is created within Wakanda is so amazing.
While Chadwick Bosman still has the coolest costume in the MCU, his performance in this movie is completely overshadowed by Michael B Jordan. Erik is the second best villain in the MCU (Wilson Fisk my boy),…Translated from by -
Arrival 2016
Arrival gives a middle finger to all mediocre films that come before it and tells the story it has in a way which completely throws the audience until the back half of the movie. This more “realistic” impression on how contact with aliens would be aceivedand carried out feels stylish and deep all the way through the film. I’m glad villenerve has both this and Blade Runner 2049 under his belt and I hope he goes on to create more amazing sci fi worlds in the future.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2018
Easily my favourite movie of 2018. Love this movie to bits, wish there was more movies in this style. I will lampoon Sony animation on their poor choices and bad movies over the last couple of years, but this movie proves there is still genuine quality to come from their studio.
