  Can someone explain to me why the poet runs away in despair when he finally achieves what he wanted?

  I watched this film a few times and each time I was about to make a huge  decision in my life. Somehow, this film encourages me to take risks. It’s comfortable.

  The choice of a heron (and birds in general) fascinates me. Why a heron? Because it symbolizes rebirth, life and death, and was the bird par excellence that connected (somehow) the earth with the divine realm in ancient civilizations? Why are birds in general so present here?
  Is it supposed to be an allegory? Man needs to be free like a bird, he needs to learn to fly, he needs to free himself from all the chains that bind him…

Following
