  the life a person leads when they’re living in such a delusion is always fascinating to me. it’s always what they did, how they did it and why it came to be that way. 
  this doc captures that well, and the interviews with those around her were interesting. i wish it dived into the impact of her story on the church more and how they all financially recovered. 
  and to the og whistleblower - such a baddie i loveeeed her she had her facts DOWN. 
  i hope amanda’s kids recover and are cared for well too <3

  i watched this as im embarking on a sean baker films mission (anora was truly THAT film for me) and what i am now thinking is it must be the magic formula within baker’s films that i so enjoy. 
  because tangerine had me thoroughly gripped throughout and the performances were just brilliant. 
  new top christmas film unlocked - am excited to rewatch in december ahah!!

  I’m not sure why i thought it would be funny (blame it on the one silly joke in the ad) - the two ladies in their 40s sat near me had a blast but it was lost on me within 2 minutes really. 
  maybe i adore women too much and am defensive of poor treatment against them, but i found it all just a little sad to think that that happens in the real world.
