Lost in Translation 2003
Evokes tremendous feelings through visuals: colours, lights, composition, shots of the city, gestures and facial expression. Script knows exactly how much to show (with regards to scenes and dialogue) and what not to reveal. Captures raw emotions and elements of the human experience in such a way I’m not sure words ever could.
