  This movie gets too much hate and little recognition for the nostalgia gem it truly is.
  Released in 1998 it set a record for over 700 cgi shots in a film. The visual effects team did an amazing job for the time frame of only 6 months given. Scenes like major West's helmet activating look far better than Iron Man (2002). I think Blawp, the cgi alien monkey could have looked better. But knowing the effects team used an animatronic…
