Most game to Movie adaptations fail and the borderlands movie, in spite of the game plot, the characters and the creative world, is a grand failure.
The characters are non-unique, with no regard to skills of the game, such as the two guns berserker, and the lot. Krieg is the exception, but it's not that complex to hold a hacksaw and act unsophisticatedly disturbed..

So many problems, it would seem that the writers have such little respect for human psychology.. Also, the director gave us (viewers) a taste of his films instead of a movie that represents him in full or partly.
This movie requires a lot of homework-
Watching about three marvel series an a lot more MCU movies and only God and fanatics know in what order.. it's admired that the director reseched the MCU so decadently, however we as viewers likely didn't do that.. we just wanted a good movie.. but that's DOA!
just grand.. A bit far fetched, non the less its is astonishingly clever.
a few gaps in the plot that are perhapse explaind and I have missed. ends with a marvelous tune. splendidly written.
