    Last Year at Marienbad

    Imagine someone asked you this

"Did you remember like a year ago we blablabla?"

At the moment, you begin to recall what the person is referring to, piece by piece. Glimpses of the event start to appear in your mind. However, to fully remember you may need someone who could help to recall, and most probably that person who is helping may not remember all the pieces as well. So there'll always be some missing parts in memories, depending on how much they meant to us ;)

    Queer

    ★★★★

just watched Queer, and damn, i loved it. its all about longing, self destruction, and that brutal push and pull of craving connection but being scared of rejection. so messy, so frustrating, but also weirdly heartbreaking. anddd shoutout to the man Sayombhu Mukdeeprom, the cinematography is insane. every frame is just chef’s kiss. I’m obsessed.

    Roma

    ★★★★½

every frame, scenes, and shots are beautifully constracted. every camera movements and long take reminds me of Chantal Akerman in the seventies. and the last 30 minutes of ROMA was the most emotional moment in a 2018 movies so far.
