Rear Window 1954
Nobody does sets anymore! Alfred Hitchcock recreates a very lively version of NYC’s Chelsea neighborhood. James Stewarts character fumbling the Princess of Monaco for almost the entirety of the film really made L.B Jeffries an unlikable character. Grace Kelly, does exactly that, grace the screen with her head to toe immaculate ensembles. A murder mystery with much more whit & laughs, than suspense.

Longlegs 2024
Strong performance from Maika Monroe for the entirety of the film. Nicholas Cage is absolutely terrifying in his role, make-up design was incredible for this, hideous and unsettling. The story was so strong, until the very last 10 minutes where in my opinion the plot merges and everything is supposed to be answered. Although theirs some key details left unanswered that could have been fleshed out, I think the story could have gone further, deeper, darker. Chilling visuals nonetheless.
