The Hunt 2020
Many aspects of this film are delightful to me. But, it's hard to look past the characters motivation to do what they do. It's not convincing which is surprising given how the motivation (why they want to hunt people down) is meant to drive the story.
But still - I love Betty Gilpin, I love a gruesome death, and I love watching Snowball in action.
And like, it's supposed to be a satire, but it shouldn't be that hard to…

She's lost in the sauce, man. So well made, Cate Blanchett was incredible as usual. This film haunts me. A life can change trajectory in a few minutes. The way Sexual Harrasment is dealt with by your workplace or law enforcement tells you why victims have an extremely hard time filing complaints knowing that there is a huge risk of retaliation.
