Eat Pray Love 2010
This movie had many awful things, but my favorite was when Julia Roberts convinced her swedish friend to enjoy food despite her weight gain, telling her she is liked anyway and promising they'd go the next day buy new, larger jeans. Cut to a montage of them selecting a pair of jeans that was obviously too small for the (otherwise very skinny) woman and framing it as a victory that they succeeded in zipping it up. There goes the self-love message.
