  I’ve watched a lot of war movies in my day, and this one had to take the cake. I’ve never seen such a war scene that was so visceral and made me sick to my stomach.
  Andrew Garfield’s performance was absolutely incredible. I’m just genuinely so blown away. This is so real and incredibly raw. And not even to mention that it shows the true horrors of war which I think a lot of other war movies glance over.

  This was terribly tragic and beautiful.

  Comparing this to Elvis was quite the shock- two completely different portrayals of Elvis. I loved seeing Priscilla’s side of the story. Yet I wonder how much was actuate to what really happened but I fear it’s not our story to know. I haven’t read her book (which the movie was based on) but I wish too!

  But fr, I think people who said this was “slow” or “another pointless biopic” have no taste and missed the point entirely. 

  Also Jacob Elordi as Elvis was slightly terrifying givin his sheer size. LAWD

  Asteroid City 2023

  All right, so my thoughts are still mellowing on this but here we go… wes anderson’s cinematography is just going to do it for me every single time. I especially love the color palette in this film. The contrast of the orange and blue is simply gorgeous and is going to sit in my mind for awhile.
