A very 2024 barbie-movie-feminsit take on The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. It runs a little bit too long for its own good. Very unique, great acting. Very good makeup and protesis. If they had collaborated with the visual effects artist creator of the shortfilm A Folded Ocean for the DVFX it would have been perfect. The movie balances itself between sexy and gory and it ends ups being kinda funny.

Funny, ridiculous, entertaining, great satira. You can feel how the film was written and directed by women. Love the mostly female cast. Characters are very real, very rounded, and some how at the same time they are like cartoon representing different aspect of gen z. The focus is their interpersonal relationships, how they see eachother and themself, what they hide and what they show, and how this place a roll when they are under this twisted extreme bloody situation.
