I fail to see the point of this movie... its not a comedy, its not plot driven (as everything you expect to happen, happens), its not a Bildungsroman as I felt no real emotional connection with Anora. It felt like someone was trying to make a woke Hangover but less funny. It also wasn't believedable. Like for instance the Russian guy who's a massive pussy - whatever happened to character study? Forming real, captivating people on screen? 2D characters work…
