  No I don’t like the director’s perspective and the way he handles trauma - it is way too simple and used over and over again (reminding me of burning days’s endless flickering flashbacks) 
  The director chose the easiest way of telling the back stories. There is a formula to it: Images that trigger her - close up - flashback - close up - flashback - runaway. The hook is not strong enough too, he gives out the back stories too quickly.

  Oliver: 'Cause I know the answer.

  Jordana: How deep is the ocean?
  Oliver: I'm not gonna say.
  Jordana: I'm brokenhearted.
  Oliver: The ocean is six miles deep.
