What really got me was at the end when Humbert is looking over some kinda hill and hears the sounds of playful laughter (CHILDREN LAUGHINGGGG) and the first thought in his mind is of Lolita. It kinda confirms he’s a pedophile. I think the most disappointing part is that Lolita never really got her happy ending she just died of childbirth :( this movie was really disturbing to me. In no way am I bashing people for liking this movie…
