    A fun creature flick with a very 1970's nihilistic perspective on environmental issues, this features effects that range from awful to surprisingly effective.
    The dialogue alone is worth the time, with actors spouting lines that must've taken discipline of steel to say with conviction.
    Throw in some oversized chickens and what more could you need?
