I feel like this movie was made specifically for me. I am a squid lover and krakens definitely fall into the realm of cephalo girl representation! Was a shame it was robbed a decent theatrical run. A cute story about a kraken family attempting to blend in and what happens when Ruby realizes she's more important than she thought. The animation is beautiful and the depictions of bioluminescence breathtaking. I only wish I had been able to see it in an actual theater, but was unable to due to lack of showings. I don't think this film was given a fair shot.

I thoroughly enjoyed this true masterpiece of cinema. I felt the silence REALLY added to the suspense and power of the film. No lyrical songs (though the instrumentals add the perfect amount of depth), no dancing, but Prabhu Deva does not fail to deliver an absolute gut wrenching performance. Don't sleep on this one!

This movie is a fun watch. I understand why it's considered a flop. It's simple and the plot doesn't go very far, but it's a fun movie with great music. It's a silly film about love winning the day with a banging soundtrack / dance sequences to back it up. It's very enjoyable if you're into a movie that doesn't take itself too seriously!
