  Fucking brutal. You really have to take a moment to sit down to watch this film because, damn, is it intense. The use of long takes and close-ups in the film gives an intimate, voyeuristic feeling which makes it seem even closer and personal. Overall the film is very confronting and does not compromise any romanticisation of war; it far beyond exceeds most "traditional" anti-war movies.
