  This movie is a great depiction of solitude and drug addiction. The illusion of closeness between the characters such as the lack of true connection/attachement between Marion and harry or Harry’s constant lies about his life to his mother are an example of how drugs have tarnished the characters relationships, which i find really interesting.

  First David lynch movie and did not disappoint! It is a great way to dive into Lynch’s world. This movie definitely needs a re-watch as it is truly complex. But, from the amazing camera angles, to the numerous details and references throughout the movie, and the way Lynch just fucks with your brain, this movie is truly a masterpiece.
