Quite possibly the best modern Star Wars film, heck, even the best Star Wars film in general. Easily the most rewatchable film for me. ROTS is a close second but while there are so many strengths to that film its flaws are also numerous in number. Rogue One delivers on all fronts and reminds me about what I love about this franchise.

Absolute peak cinema. One of the greatest stories ever told.
While not new to me by any means, I appreciated witnessing the epic grandeur of this narrative on the big screen and noticing some of the changes to sound design and score arrangements. This was the true original vision for the finale and I was lucky enough to see it in my home country.
The exclusive end credits scene is a delightful addition to this theatrical cut as well, and does not disappoint.

Scorsese's 2010 film 'Shutter Island' is a brilliant psychological thriller that initially poses as a noir-style mystery and a puzzle that needs to be solved, but gradually becomes evident (with subtle foreshadowing) that not everything is as it seems.
It explores the question, whether or not it is better for someone who is plagued with guilt and shame over…
