  i don't care, i liked this movie and i think it has a pretty good message (especially for an early 2000s comedy movie)

  shallow hal and his best friend are (ironically) chubby, shallow, and balding. this is intentional, meant to show the double standard between men and women. men are allowed to have negative physical traits, women aren't.
