wow. this movie was a lot. i thought this story was absolutely beautiful. i had such a soft spot for igor, his character was so genuine and one of the few people (if not the only) that, despite their horrendous introduction, ended up treating ani as a human. the lead up of their interactions ultimately culminating into the ending scene was so heartbreaking to watch. her character maintained such a strong front throughout the film, and it was devastating to…

okay so this one is getting a four because it was a beautiful homage to pharrell williams’ and neptunes’ discography - seeing everything through lego was very fun. however, if you’re not as big of a music head, this one will probably not hit as hard. more of a documentary than it is a movie - which i did not realize going in. i still loved it, pharrell has sooooo many infectious hits. very inspiring if you make music of your own
