All Quiet on the Western Front 2022
One of the greatest war movies I’ve ever seen. A gruesome, gut-wrenching, painfully realistic depiction of war. Through outstanding performances, the viewer is able to travel through emotions such as guilt, grief and shame along with these young soldiers. Moreover, the movie’s portrayal of the emotional disconnection these soldiers go through is both haunting and authentic. As for the crater scene, I’ll add it to my list of cinematic traumas. + Award-worthy cinematography and soundtrack as well.
