Past Lives 2023
Now THIS movie did make me sob because they’re a couple to cry over and they had a love that I actually cared about because it was proper love. Also I had no idea they mention eternal sunshine, like I just needed to sleep and wanted a sad breakup movie and chose it at random. I really did sob tho like to the point where I couldn’t breathe and had to smoke a cigarette. It’s probably because Richard and I are going through a break up. And this is my favorite Korean (or Asian in general) American movies. Everything everywhere all at once, take notes

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind 2004
This wasn’t as sad as I remember, probably because ive grown up and realized that clementine and joel have an awful relationship (mostly clementines fault. I only really dislike Joel for liking clementine) probably one of my favorite sci-fi films tho. I don’t know all that much about genre but from the little bit I know it uses a lot of science fiction conventions like exploring human nature under different science/technology conditions
