first half was pretty interesting and then the second half got odd and fell off. i liked the closing scene and song though, lovely view of the mountains haha. cast is craaaaazy stacked as well?? like wdym johnny depp showed up for five minutes as a side character. music is kinda fun for a movie musical as well but they all sound the exact same imo.

okay so this movie is my worst two fears combined (space and being sent into a coma in which i wake up a significant number of years later and my family is older and has lived their lives without me and now i have to see all that i’ve missed) so this was a crazy emotional rollercoaster for me.
overall though this was sooo good. i’m always a sucker for a dystopian film but this one just felt so different from others. so many details and plot points i didn’t expect. i cried like four times. soundtrack, amazing. everything just so so good.Translated from by
