Perfect Days 2023
There is a magick in cinema, where emotions can be shared between those who watch it and those who make it. The productions are the carrier, the stage that allows such exchange.
This film feels like a sigh of satisfaction - just like the ones Hirayama lets out after waking up to another day.
Additionally, this one felt like a home to me. One I did not know I needed to return to, but I am glad I did... on my own, proudly so :]

the acting, script (especially dialogues), editing and photography are simply a mess.
they tried doing something with a specific identity, especially with the editing and it fell short.
the issue with this movie lies with the execution, really... i believe the original concept had promising possibilities of what the film could have been, but they pulled the wrong thread, right on theme with the narrative.
