It’s captivating and thought-provoking, but also disturbing and evokes a lot of anger. I almost couldn’t finish watching it, but the ending saved the film. The sexualization of Bella, considering her mindset at the beginning, is truly disturbing and raises a moral dilemma that the film doesn’t seem to question as much as it should. Max being interested in her so early on reinforces this strangeness, and the fact that no one really ages adds a surreal but also unsettling…
