Lost in Translation 2003
This movie felt like a meditation in that I just sat and didn't think or feel for a long time. I think that I was partially unsettled by the sexualization of seventeen year old Scarlett Johansson and by the 35 year age gap between the two protagonists but I don't know. Also a very generalized representation of a whole nation.
