  This film, being the visual feast that it is, stays just a visual feast. While the monsters are cool as fuck, which made for awesome monster fights, the story is mad cringe. The script is terrible, campy, and clumsy. The dialogues are melodramatic yet still try to be funny in all the wrong places (which make all the punchlines fall flat and become hella awkward).
