  I wanted to love the movie. The art and the animation style are beautiful. And I found the short stories well written, with the right balance of fantasy on the otherwise tragic depictions.
  However, it is one more story of women (and little girls) being the conduits for other people (mostly men) to process emotions. Women as the building blocks of families, themselves and their needs neglected even though they're going through the same. She tells stories to help both…
