  I was actually starting to feel bad for not being able to appreciate this movie "as I should" the first time I saw it.
  Then I gave it a second try. And still... can't get the hype.

  The characters don't deliver empathy to me. Everything seems fake and distant. I haven't read the book yet (though I have plans to do so) to criticize the story. Therefore I can't blame anything but the movie itself.
