  The first head sculpted into the Mount Rushmore of biopics this decade should be J. Robert Oppenheimer. Elvis seems far less powerful by comparison, despite it having its own kind of significance. And Blonde, while severely undervalued and misunderstood, probably won't make a critical turnaround at any point, though I personally think there is an important film hidden underneath the overwhelming hate.   Absolutely unbelievable story of fiction that barely functions as surrealist fantasy. I find it ironic that a movie so deeply about postmodernism is immediately invalid in a post-911 world. Very 90s in both depictions of working class ennui and terrorism.
