felt like a nightmarish fever dream. how did stanley tucci turn from a sassy gay man in the Devil Wears Prada to creepy weird uncle in this movie. dare i say the duality of men.

I think everyone agrees that Neil’s father is an asshole; his son already died because of him, and yet he managed to put the blame on the teacher that made Neil pursue acting. It was a great film, managed to bring the poet out of me for a hot minute, and made me think of how my hobbies really are the things I want to pursue. I now see Robin Williams as the John Keating, oh captain my captain.

Never would’ve thought Andrew Garfield could sing and dance. His performance in this movie is so good, especially with the song 30/90, and with him finding out that the musical he had been working on for years wouldn’t be a hit and being absolutely devastated about that information. Some of the songs almost made me fall asleep though.
